Cousin Weekend Fun....

We were fortunate to have my cousin Melissa come and play with us in Austin this weekend. :) She came to see the boys, give us a chance to get a few things done, and to help us out. :) Braden had a BALL with her.....he thought she was his new BFF! HA! :) And she quickly got indoctrinated into a world with 2 boys under 2 years old. LOL! :)

Melissa and Brant hanging out in NICU.... On Saturday morning after Braden's class at MY GYM we headed over to Central Market so Braden could play on the playscape, and we could get some lunch. I am a good slider...watch me! :)
Saturday night Melissa let us go on a date while she stayed with Braden. Thank you!! :) We headed out to a new restaurant called "Soleil" and it was great! :) If you live in Austin and you have not been out to the new "Oasis compound"yet, you need to check it out. All Austinites know the Oasis well..but it is completely different out there now. They are building more restaurants and 35 shops are on their way as well. There is a huge parking garage now, etc. It is going to be pretty impressive and pretty crowded once it is all complete. :)

We had a wonderful time, and of course you can never beat the Spring weather in Central Texas..or the view out there. :) People walking "The Plank" to get pictures. :)
Inside Soleil....
We had super food!! "Soleil" is Italian and Mediterranean food...with a good splash of seafood options. We had a rockin appetizer-a really fun bruschetta without tomatoes!! Instead it had some awesome cheese, proscuitto, pears, and arugula. It was scrumptous!! Chris had lobster fettucini and I had a ground shrimp burger....very unique and very good!! We would have taken some pics of the food but honestly we were starving and wanted to dig in!! :) YUM!! :) Glad you came Melissa....we had a fun weekend with you! :) Come back soon!
