Bubbles!!!

We have another new word to add to our repertoire!! :) The new word is "Bubble". :) It is so cute when Braden says it....and he will just repeat it over and over again. He actually says it pretty well where you can tell what it is that he is saying. We love listening to him add to his vocabulary. It is too cute. :)

Since he is COMPLETELY in love with bubbles, we decided to get him a bubble maker for the bathtub for this birthday. Oh it has been a hit! :) We might have to buy stock in bubble refills at this point! :)

I get to have bubbles in the BATH now too? HOORAY! :)

Love For Lesson Plans....

I don't think that I have mentioned this week how much I love Braden's school. :) It is really just so cool!!

They do so many neat things, and I love that the teachers provide us with the lesson plans that they are going to follow each week. There are themes for the school for the entire month, and different things that the whole school does each day during the month. :) The little tots get to participate in those too. They can include parades, water activities, the circus, learning about heroes, why they are special, how to share, their senses, their bodies, etc. It is so stinkin cool!! I love how well the school is run...it just makes me happy inside!! :) And I love when I show up to pick Braden up that he is so happy....and all of his fun arts and crafts for the day are up for display. :) He is learning so much. :)

For example, this week they are working on the following:
1) Visual Stimulation-color, word, and shape flash cards, farm puppets, bingo cards

2) Fine and Gross Motor Development-peek-a-boo, bean bag toss, shaking toys, pushing buttons, rolling balls

3) Sign Language

4) Sensory-sweet and sour, peppermint, making goop, sensory boards and bags

5) Music, Songs, and Movement-lots of fun songs like "The Wheels On The Bus", "If You're Happy And You Know It", and "Where Is Thumbkin?"!! :)

The school came out to chalk the driveways this week, and to showcase their creativity skills. :) It was a little treat for the parents when we showed up to pick them up. :)

This was one of the ones for Braden's class. :) So fun! :)

Cannot wait to see what all he does next. :)

I think that was the funniest part! :) He thought it was so cool everytime we sang the birthday song with his name in it. :) He was sooo happy and probably wondering how often this amazing weekend happens!! :)

Both families came in this weekend to celebrate little B, and to come to his party. He was able to play with his cousins Riley and Lainey all weekend too...which he loved! :) He thought it was pretty darn cool to have instant playmates when he woke up in the mornings. :) And the three of them really know how get serious about playing with toys! I am so glad we did it at Little Gym! :) The kids were worn out and I bet they slept good that night! HA! :)

After the big party, the family all headed home for some yummy dinner from Chuy's and some present opening time. :) The kids got bathed, we all grubbed up, and the kids tore into those presents. I was overwhelmed by all of the amazing things that Braden got! We will have to open a few toys a month...for many months to come in order for him to not have a million new toys to play with at once. :) He also got a LOT of books which is so fun b.c he is so into those right now. It is awesome! :) And thank you to everyone for the wonderful clothes and all of the puzzles, blocks, and other educational toys too. WOW!! You all really outdid yourselves on creativity this time! :)

He got his new red chair from Pottery Barn Kids from Uncle Jay and Aunt Katie...and he literally sits in it all the time and reads. It is sooo cute! :) Awww yeah...another riding toy! :) I think I am going to eat the card while Dad opens it. :) Thanks Mimi and Pappy! Especially all of the cars! :) Fun, fun, fun!! :) Is this Christmas? :) Oh and they loved playing with the new balls.....This one is super fun too! :) More cars..hooray! :) My very own stepstool for the bathroom!! What a creative present..and it matches my room perfectly! Thank you Aunt Jennifer! :) And my first lunchbox!! I can carry my milk in it along with my snacks! :)

And another one of my favorites is my sand and water table! This seems like it will make a nice mess in the backyard!! WHOOP! :)

Thank you again to everyone that made Braden's birthday so incredibly special this year. It was so wonderful to have you all there to celebrate, and we are so blessed to have such wonderful friends and family in our lives. Braden loves you and he sends big hugs your way!! :)
