We headed out on Saturday morning, and it normally takes us about 5 hours..but we did it in a whopping 8 hours!! LOL!! :) In all seriousness, Braden did great on that long roadtrip...but we stopped to get him out of his carseat every once in awhile, feed him, etc. Since we had decided in advance to stop some, I was in charge of picking where we got out. Of course I chose the Houston Galleria and surrounding area!! HA! :) So we made a pit stop there on the way through on Saturday, did a little shopping, and had some yummy lunch at Grand Lux Cafe. :)
On the way back on Monday we stopped in the same area for some more fun! HA!! We also met my sweet sweet friend Bobbi Jo and her quadruplets!! :) Love those girls!! Her older daughter, Reagan, was in school...so unfortunately we did not get to see her. But we did get to see the 4 other cuties-Madison, Taylor, McKinley, and Kennedy. :) So glad we got to have lunch with them on the way back!
The weekend was a good time and I am glad we headed out there to see the family. We also entertained my mom while my dad was hunting. :) He made it back on Sunday night to see his little grandson though. :)
