So we got some meds for that, and off we went with some good advice and some good stats. :) She said he looked great and he was right on track. Our little man is getting so big!! I don't know where my little baby went...but this big boy is on the move. There are days that I definitely miss the cuddling and baby stuff...and then I remember how much fun and how interactive he is right now, and I realize there is beauty in every stage. :)
Here are his 9 month stats:
Weight-22 lbs 13 oz (90th percentile)
Height-30 inches (95th percentile)
Head-46.8 cm (79th percentile)
Braden's favorite things right now:
- Likes to give you "five"
- Likes to wave "bye bye"
- Likes to say "mama" and "dada" very clearly
- Likes to squeal...LOUD!! :)
- Likes to give kisses (open mouth of course)! :)
- Likes to move around everywhere!! :) Even though he has not mastered the traditional forward crawl, he can get where he needs to go. :) He can get in perfect position but just cannot get it to all work together just yet. I am sure that will be coming very soon! :) He likes to practice his different crawling techniques in bed at night! LOL! :)
- Likes to try pull up on everything!! We are overdue on the babyproofing!
- Likes puffs, yogurt melts, and teething biscuits..and he likes to feed HIMSELF these things. :)
- Likes to see himself in the mirror....big time!
- Likes to watch EVERYTHING, and his curiosity is out of this world!
- Likes everything you put in his mouth...he loves all kinds of food! :) It is so awesome.
- Likes water and will drink lots of it...especially out of a water bottle. :) Loves the water bottle over his sippy cup. :)
- Likes to try to climb out of the bathtub the entire time you are trying to bathe him. Exhausting!!
- Likes attention in a huge way. He will look back often just to see if you are watching him. :)
- Likes to outgrow his clothes quickly due to his height! :)
- Likes school and playing with his friends, and the different activities that go on up there.
- Likes to sit out on our front porch and just watch all of the cars pass by.
And one more note.......still no teeth!! HA!! We are not sure when those pearly whites are going to pop through but I guess they are going to come in on their own time!! :) The doc told us today that they are not late until 18 months! LOL! :) I guess he will be gumming all of his table food starting next week. :)
Things are great at the Bugbee casa....and once again we feel so blessed to be parents to this cute little stinker!! :) We would not trade these past 9 months for anything! Thank you Lord for Baby Braden! :)
I love to tear up my 9 month old sign. :) Paper is for tearing up mom!!

Keith showing us those pearly whites. :)

Caden and Caroline explaining to Jon that pics are fun! :)

And then after lunch we had to get back to the grind....more and more hardwood and carpet shopping. We saw lots of this.....
And even more of this........
Until everything just started to look the same. :)
When we were done with all of that shopping, we decided we needed to head out to The Oasis for the afternoon for some margaritas. Ahhhhhh.....nice! :) Chris and I try to head to The Oasis at least each May to remember the amazing night that we had there on Friday, May 4th, 2007. :) We had our rehearsal dinner there and it was wonderful. An amazing night with 100 or so of our closest family and friends....great memories!! :) So we go back each year to remember the good times. :)

Ritas make everyone smile...... :)
And Braden was just happy to be cold kickin it outside. :)
Later that night, Chris and I had our fancy date. :) What a fun time!! We headed out to "The Emerald"...a super cute little Irish cottage in southwest Austin. Having been to Ireland before...it was a cute recreation of a cottage in an Irish countryside. It is run by the sweetest family and we loved spending time with them that night. We settled in for a very cozy 3 hour meal, as we waited for our 4 courses to be served. You can have lots of good conversation in 3 uninterrupted hours!! HA! :) All in all, it was a great experience and the service could not have been better. We loved how authentic the house was too....it really was a treat!
My handsome hubby........ :)
Fine china adorned with shamrocks, a little bit of crystal, and some lace.. :)

So much food and Irish whisky cake at the end...that we had to take home the leftovers. :)
Another amazing weekend has come to a close. And once again...we will look forward to the week flying by so that we can get to the next one quickly!! :)
He loves these too!! His safari roller from our fun friends Matt and Alicia...and his water pat mat from our sweet family-Clell and Jane. :) See that smile? Thanks guys! :)
I still live with my parents. :) Love this shirt...
And the best entertainment of all right now.....the mirror!! Wow...he loves himself! LOL! :)
I sure am funny! :)
I love to kiss myself! :)
I have been trying to help my parents pick out new carpet...but it is a boring job!!
And I love my new seat where I can read my books!! :)
