Birthday and Anniversary Dates

Chris and I had a fun weekend this past weekend. :) We love weekends b.c we get to hang out for more than an hour or two. HA! :) It seems like during the week we just kind of pass in the night.. :) He gets home from work and I usually leave to go run my errands. Then I come home and Braden is usually in bed, and Chris is pretty exhausted from his day. So we chat briefly and then both pass out! HA! :) So the weekends are a HUGE treat! :)

Despite the crazy rain this past weekend, we were able to get out a lot and have some fun. Chris's mom and both of my parents were in town this weekend..and as usual, we loved having them!! It is so fun b.c they get along sooo well and have such fun together. :) And we could not pick more perfect babysitters. Braden was loved on in a MEGA way while Chris and I were out this weekend. :) They are so sweet to always let us go on dates, go to church, run our errands, and all of that good stuff.

So we headed out Friday night to celebrate my b-day again! HA! Nothing like celebrating for a week, right? :) We went to Ruth Chris to grub up on some pure yuminess. :) Then on Saturday, we spent the day shopping for new cars. That was fun....and we found a few that we like, want to look into further, and start negotiating on. We are planning to upgrade the Explorer to something new. :) Hope to have a new ride in the next couple of months (assuming folks want to work us a good deal of course!!) :) Things move a lot slower with a little one! HA! :)

Saturday night we celebrated our 29 Month Anniversary...yay!! :) We went to see "Love Happens"....cute movie. Then we headed down to a fun French restaurant, Chez Nous, in downtown Austin. Chris and I's first international trip together was to France to see our sweet friends David and Kelly. We went to France about 3 years before we even started dating..so we laugh about that trip today...since France is like "romantic paradise". :) This fun little restaurant made us feel like we were in a little French village just hanging out and enjoying the good life. :) Good food...and great dessert (the most important part!!) :)

Thank you to our sweet parents once again for keeping Braden so we could enjoy some time together...and get some things done. :) We GREATLY appreciate you so much!

And Happy 29 Months Chris!! :) Love you tons....

Ruth Chris Fun....
We love birthday desserts! :)
