It's Thomas Time!!

Like I had mentioned in some past posts, we have been having pretty good success with Braden and the potty so far....considering we aren't "officially" doing it yet. I have been trying not get too into it at this point for a couple of reasons 1) having a 5 month old at home as well 2) having to move him to a toddler bed when he is sleeping so great in a crib still, 3) knowing that they will not focus on potty training too much at his preschool until he moves into the 2 year old class at the end of Aug. So all of that said, I have been trying to wait just a little bit longer.

But seriously...our 22 month old is INTO IT!!! He wants to make it happen sooner than later, so not wanting to miss the window I am slowly starting to agree to give him a little more potty time. HA! He has proven he can poop and pee in there so I guess I am the last one to the party...or the "potty" in this case. :)

In an effort to support the movement, we went and picked out new undies! Oh how he loves them!! He had lots of choices but he picked Thomas The Train of course! :) Now let's see what happens when we start to actually wear them more often! :)

He has a little potty of his own upstairs but we decided he needed something downstairs too....as you cannot always run upstairs when you feel the "need". :) Of course....it is Thomas as well! :)
Here's hoping it goes well over the next few months or so (or as long as it takes mom to get into the groove and realize her baby really is growing up!) :)
