VEGAS BABY!!

Chris and I headed to Las Vegas for 4 days for our first "child-free" vacation. It was totally FABULOUS!! My mom did us a wonderful favor, and came out to Austin on her Spring Break to take care of Braden while we were gone. I know that she spoiled him like crazy and that he had a total ball!! :) Thank you Mom-YOU ROCK!! You have no idea how much we appreciated our little getaway! :)

I really do not think we could have had more fun together in Vegas....seriously!! We loved everything about our trip, and it was perfect from the time we left on Sunday until we got back early Thursday morning. It was exactly what we needed. We had both been to Vegas a lot with other people...but never together. That is why we decided to head out West and play for a few days. :)

We are not huge gamblers at all but we do love staying in gorgeous hotels, eating at amazing restaurants, and watching top notch shows!! :) And that is what we did! HA! :) We also decided that a great way to celebrate our Feb and March anniversaries was to go out to Vegas and enjoy ourselves. :) Ahhh...what a blast!! Thank you for the wonderful trip Chris..it will go down in the memory books under one of the most fun ones for sure! :)

Here is a little picture summary... :)
We stayed at a luxury suite at The Venetian and it ROCKED!! :)
Our wonderful suite....and we loved that the shades and draperies were remote controlled, and that we had too many TV's in there to even watch! LOL! :)Once we got in on Sunday afternoon and got checked in...we headed to see Jersey Boys. LOVED IT!! :) Great show... Then we had dinner at Postrio...one of Wolfgang Puck's restaurants in The Venetian. We saw him in the elevator the next night too...so that was fun. :)One morning we decided to spend the early hours at the Venetian and Palazzo Spa. We were VERY relaxed, and they had some really neat things that you could partake in like tropical rain showers, fancy steam rooms, an igloo, hottubs, a salt grotto, saunas, a wave room, etc. We had fun. :)
Then we decided to hit the town and hang out. :)
We had lunch at Serendipity....MMMMMMMM!!! :) Loved that place! :)
Their famous frozen hot chocolate. :)World's largest chocolate fountain in the Bellagio...
If you can believe it...these are chocolate flowers at ARIA!! Love it! :)
The new City Center...very cool and modern! Yes, those are canoes! :)
Monday night we had dinner at Tao Asian Bistro, and I love the vibe in that place!! :)
Love the bathtubs in the entrance.....so fun and swanky! Then we headed over to the Wynn to see Le Reve!! Breathtaking!! :)At the end of the show........
Tuesday we decided to head out to Red Rock Canyon in the Mojave Desert. Very cool.......

Tuesday night was our spectacular dinner at Mon Ami Gabi-a French Steakhouse (come to mama!! YUM!!) :)After dinner was our third and final show....KA by Cirque de Soleil. I have NEVER seen a theater or a stage like that before...blew our minds!! So wish I could have taken pictures!
Wednesday was sleeping in and packing up (sadly!!). We headed to FIRST Food and Drink for lunch. YUM AGAIN!! (Why is all of the food there SOOO good?)Have you ever seen a hotdog like this before? :) Um yeah...insanity!We won some money at the nickel and penny slots!! HA! Big spenders, eh? :)
I think the Amaretto Sour might have helped me to win! :)And we needed to get some gelato in memory of our trip to Italy in 2008! :)
Had to run by Casear's Palace on the way to the airport late Wednesday afternoon. :)
AHHHHHHHHHHHH....so happy and refreshed!! We could not wait to see Braden but dang we had a wonderful trip! :) When can we go again? :)
