We are in love with this super fun little person, and he has brought so much joy into our lives!! He is moving and shaking and changing right in front of our eyes each day! :) He is 20 lbs and very very long. :) He is still almost off the charts in length, so we are excited about his height so far. Well, except for the fact that he has to wear 12 month clothes already b.c he is so long! HA! :)
Braden is well into eating solids now, and he eats three meals per day. He is so cute! :) He has not pushed away any food just yet..but it is obvious that he likes some foods more than others. :) For veggies...he has grubbed up sweet potatoes, squash, carrots, peas, and green beans. He has taken a chance on meat already too...turkey! :) He is a little dramatic so he makes a gagging face when he first starts eating meat each day...and it is pretty funny. But he successfully conquered that one. That is a big step since meat in a jar is NASTY!! :) Looks like chicken is next! :) He also loves bananas with his cereal so that is a winner. We have a few more fruits to go...yay! :)
Braden loves water and he downs that sippy cup. He is learning how to use it, and sometimes more water ends up on him than in his mouth....so we are getting used to his wet shirts! :) All in all, eating solids has gone really well with him, and it is fun to watch him eat something new every few days. :)
Braden was an early sitter (4 1/2 months) but he has not proven to be an early crawler. HA!! :) He is still not a huge fan of being on his tummy for an extended period of time...and usually just rolls over when he is annoyed. He is doing the mini pushups though, and he just needs to get his legs up under him to steady himself. Once he masters that, I think he will be on the go. :) I am waiting for him to scoot or roll more to get to what he wants. Right now he just bends his body in half (like Cirque de Soleil) and grabs it. :) That seems to work for him for the the time being! HA! :)
He still does not have any teeth, so I guess he will be gumming things for awhile still. I don't even see any trying to poke through. :) We have traditionally gotten teeth a little later in our family, so I am thinking he might even have another month or two before any tooth tries to rear its head. :)
He loves to stand.....and he stands very well holding onto something. He has good balance so it fun to stand him up against a table, ottoman, etc and watch him shake it. :) He loves music and his Praise Baby videos. He LOVES outside and could spend all day out there. He wants to touch EVERYTHING!! :) Total boy, right? :)
Braden has really enjoyed his voice and talks constantly. He also loves to squeal and laugh and blabber about all kinds of things. :) He practices coughing, blowing bubbles, spitting, everything..ha! :) I really need to post some videos...b.c he is just too funny. We also love how he lifts his hands up to be held now. So sweet. :) His personality is vibrant and he is very social. He makes us laugh on a daily basis...no doubt. :)
So month 7 is here...and I am sure it will fly by as fast as the other months have. Too fast for sure!! In the meantime though, we are loving up on this little man and enjoying every moment we can through his eyes!! :) I would not trade it for anything!

Mom and Dad finally moved me up to my new car seat when I turned 7 months!!. I am still rear facing but this new seat is like a fine recliner! I love it! :) Cozy!! :) I was ready to get rid of that other one...it was for babies! :)
