Understanding So Much...

I am still amazed by my 14 month old little man every day. I cannot believe how much he takes in, how curious he is about everything in life, how much he talks, and how much he actually understands. It is truly amazing!! :) He teaches us something new every single day. :)

Some of the things that amaze us:

1) If you ask him something like "What does a dog or cat say?" then he will tell you..."Woof, woof" or "Meow, meow".

2) If there a slew of puzzle pieces on the floor and you ask him to go find something like the firetruck or airplane piece, he will bring it to you.

3) He makes the funniest faces sometimes, and they look like "What are you guys talking about anyway?" or "That is for babies!!"

4) If you tell him to come and give you a hug or a kiss, he will do it right away. He will do it to other people too if you ask him...so sweet. :) The grandparents are loving this one. :)

5) If he is holding a few balls in his hand and Chris asks for the "red" one...he will hand it to him.

6) He is so funny if you ask him if he wants to do something like "Do you want to go night night?" He will just look at you and say "No". :) And his little "no" is the cutest thing ever! :)

7) The other day I was eating an apple and he was watching me so intently. He was reaching for it so I gave him his own small one. Right away he put it up to his mouth like me and tried to bite into it.

8) He loves to use a fork and spoon when he eats. If you help him get food on those then he will always eat more. :)

9) He understands that it is a a VERY big deal if Chris comes home from work and does not acknowledge him right away. If Chris even takes a quick second to put this things down before rushing over to pick him up he just MELTS!! It is a really big deal to him that Chris goes to him the minute he gets inside. :)

10) He can open the doors around the house (very scary!!). So he will just walk around opening and shutting them over and over again.

Those are our top 10 favs so far....and we wait in anticipation for what he will teach us tomorrow. :) We do adore that little boy! :)
