The Twelve Days Of Christmas (Break)....Days Six, Seven, And Eight...

Not too much happened on days 6 and 7 of our break other than a lot of errands, haircuts, car maintenance stuff, cleaning, unloading, unpacking, washing, and getting back into the swing of things from being out of town for 4 days. :)

We did manage to squeeze in some lunches and the movie "New Years Eve" during that time...LOVED IT! :) We also hit up a new place that opened recently-Tootie Pie Co Gourmet Cafe. I am going to have to give it two thumbs down though. :( Not b.c of the food (the sandwiches and pie were good)...but b.c of the service. It took FOREVER, and that always irritates me.

On Day 8 we decided to do another date day....which was a lot of fun. :) We started out with lunch at Quattro Gatti which was SO GOOD!!! Awesome authenic Italian fare that we just loved. We had the BEST bread, bruschetta, caprese salad, and pizza. My mouth waters just thinking about it! :)
After lunch it was time to head over to Lomography..a super fun camera shop. I am so glad I got to check this place out b.c I want 1/2 of what is in there. :) They are from Sweden and just have some cool, cool stuff. I could have spent a lot more time in there than we did. :)
After lunch and Lomography, we headed out to the Oasis to go ice skating. :) It was on the warmer side (60's), so the ice was getting a little too slick for my taste. I like to ice skate but this seemed slightly dangerous to me. HA! :)

After ice skating we headed over to Austin Chill for some frozen yogurt...since it was warming up outside. :) And we took our frozen yogurt and went to enjoy the view....
And watch people out at the Oasis... And talk about all of the beautiful homes out there... And decide what all we would do with all of the rooms if we had one like this...
Or like this... :) It was a super fun day to just be together and hang out. We love our dates over Christmas break! :)
