We got referred to a great dentist in Round Rock and we really liked her and her office staff. They were great with Braden and really knew how to get him to cooperate. When the dentist would ask him to open his mouth, he would open it up so wide. It was precious!! And when she would ask him to show her his teeth, he would put on a big grin with those pearly whites showing. It really could not have gone better.
We had an exam with her and she checked him out...... and then we talked to her about all of the toddler stuff related to teeth. She counted his teeth for us and discussed his molars, the remainder of his teeth to come in, brushing and flossing techniques, etc. It was informative and I am glad we took him early. I know that most folks wait until their kiddos are 3....but I think this will hopefully help us to prevent any cavities that toddlers usually get early on.
Braden also loved that he got a balloon and that he got to choose toys from the treasure chest. He thought that was pretty darn neat! :) He was all smiles the entire time. SUCCESS!!! YAY!! :) See you in 6 months again for another check! :)
