I had a proud mom moment this week when we took Braden to Gymboree. Since he is 15 months, he goes to the 10-16 month class on Saturday mornings. Well, Chris and I had been thinking that even though he was not old enough yet, we needed to go ahead and move him up in to the 16-22 month class. So after his 10-16 month class on Saturday morning, we asked if he could take the 16-22 month class right afterward as well. They said sure and so we joined in.
I was simply amazed at watching Braden! He did every single thing that those older kids did..and he was the youngest by probably 2 months or so. It was so fun to see him be so engaged in everything, and watch how his mind works. He was often the first one to do some of the activities...as he wanted to be up close and personal to the action. :)
They set up LONG tunnels all around the room and none of the kids would go through them. I guess they were too long and daunting. But we turned away for a minute and when we looked back he was on his way through those suckers. :) The other kids started to follow and we were all laughing at them! :) It was just too fun to watch him.
I was so proud of my little man and all that he was able to do in that new class!! :) Needless to say, for the rest of the year we are going to go ahead and take the older class (even though he is not officially 16 months until the end of Dec). :) I think he will be much happier and so will we! :) GO B! :)
