Holiday Tea Time....

We had our annual Holiday Tea at church on Wednesday night, Dec 1st. It is an awesome event where all of the hostesses decorate beautiful tables, and there is good fellowship among hundreds of women over food and drink for a few hours. There is holiday music and a speaker, and it is just a nice time to chill out and not worry about all of the things that you have to do as a wife and a mom. :)

Last year I hosted a table, and while it was a LOT of fun...it was also a lot of work. This year a few of us that are newer moms got together and decided to host a table all together. The best news was that we did not have to decorate it though! HA!! There were a few amazing ladies that came to the Tea the night before, and they offered to leave all of their decor up for the following night. It worked out wonderfully for those of us that really wanted to go...but were not able to invest the time in all of the decorating and preparation this time around.

Some of them were soooo beautiful and creative! :) It is so neat to walk around and see how much time was put into the tons and tons of tables. :) Looking forward to the Holiday Tea 2011! :)
