Busy Christmas Week....

Christmas week was such a busy time!! I was so thankful for A LOT of time off with my hubby...we had 10 full days together before he had to go back to work for 3 more, and was then off again. :) It was so great to have that time b.c we worked our tails off!! We worked on so many house projects, and while it was crazy hard, it was so worth it!! :)

We had started making a lot of progress on the nursery and other parts of the house over Thanksgiving when my parents came...but we were able to do so much more during those days since we had a longer amount of time. We worked on the nursery even more and cleaned out every inch of the house other than the master bedroom and the kitchen. Those were pretty much the only rooms that did not get touched. :) We did lots of things such as major Goodwill runs, selling stuff on Craigs List, pulling everything out of all of our closets and getting life organized in a huge way, cleaning, cleaning, and more cleaning, and lots more rearranging. :) We were WIPED out for sure...but it left a smile on our faces at the end.

We also managed to get in some fun time together as well like a couple of movies-" How Do You Know?" (horrible)...and "The Tourist" (good). :) We were able to have a good Christmas lunch together at Roaring Fork and run some much needed errands. :)

So thankful for all of this time off over the holidays. If I could have 3+ weeks off every 6 months or so I would be set! HA! :) And I feel blessed to be able to have such a fun, hardworking time with my hubby before heading out of town to Dallas for the holidays. :)
