A new month is here....and Braden is 8 months old today! YAY! :) Lots of fun happened in these last 30 days...and we are stoked for what is to come!! :)
Braden is 22 lbs and who knows how long...but he is LONG!! :) I am pretty sure he will be off the charts in length (or very close to it) when we go back for his 9 month appt. He is still filling out his 12 month clothes very well. :)
Braden is in the stage where he is imitating sounds...and it is stinkin hilarious! :) So many funny sounds that just crack us up. The best is when you are in the front seat of the car and you are making sounds, and you can hear him in the backseat imitating you. Hysterical! :) And he LOVES to laugh...side splitting laughing that is completely infectious! :) I cannot get enough of it. :)
He is a super eater...so trying new foods has been a lot of fun. He has eaten everything from avocados to pumpkin, and mango to spinach and beef. :) Gotta love those gross pureed meats!! LOL! :) He eats 3 meals per day and then drinks about 24 oz of formula per day as well. He is really starting to cut back on the milk and eat more of the food. Not exactly sure why b.c most of it is pretty darn gross. :) He loves water too, and he downs that from his sippy cup! He cannot get enough. :)
We are still waiting for those little teeth to come in. Looks like those are going to be late to arrive...but hopefully he will get them all at once!! :) Wouldn't that be nice to go through it just one time? :) You can see the pearly whites under the gums...but nothing has popped through.
Braden is not crawling just yet...but he likes to scoot and creep...backwards. :) You gotta love it. :) If you put him on his stomach, he will end up somewhere else....but not through the traditional crawling method! HA! :) Sometimes if he is in a sitting position you can look over, and he will have gotten on all fours and look like he is about to take off. Then you realize that he has not quite mastered how to get that last leg into position to move forward. Once he gets the hang of that, he is going to be on the move. It is so cute to watch! :) My friends have told me not to rush the crawling...b.c then all of the baby proofing has to happen, and you chase them everywhere. :)
I have begun to notice him starting to have stranger anxiety and some separation anxiety. I did not expect that since he is at school everyday...and does great there. But I have just noticed in the past day or two that he is not a huge fan of going to other people that he does not know well, or letting them hold him. Hopefully this is a very short term thing! HA! :)
So here's to 8 months little man!! We are having such fun with you!! :) You have made us so happy, and have filled our home with unspeakable joy!! What did we do for nightly entertainment before you joined our family? HA! :)

He just started sleeping on his stomach some since turning 8 months. He rolls his blanket up into a little pillow and gets comfy. :) This is how I found him this morning when I went in to get him. :)
