Newborn Photo Shoot-Part Two...

I wanted to put up some of the super fun pics that we got from Braden's newborn photo shoot. :) He was 3 1/2 weeks old when our amazing friend Courtney took these pics, and we love all of them!! :)

I took Braden into the pediatrician's office this week to use their scale...just to see how much my little man was up to now. He was 13 lbs 4 oz. :) So he gained another pound in the past 3 weeks. Love it. :) He is growing up sooo fast! In these pics below he was only about 7-8 lbs...crazy!

30 Days Of Thanksgiving....

I thought that this month of Thanksgiving would be a great time to list all of the things that I am thankful for. Let's call it "30 Days of Thanksgiving"! :)

1) So thankful for my wonderful husband.
2) So thankful for my sweet son.
3) So thankful that we have a God that loves us unconditionally.
4) So thankful for my health.
5) So thankful for the health of my family.
6) So thankful for such a great support network.
7) So thankful for the freedom that we have here in the great USA.
8) So thankful for all of those who serve to protect our freedom.
9) So thankful that I am employed.
10) So thankful for having a roof over my head.
11) So thankful for my church and all of our friends there.
12) So thankful for waking up every day.
13) So thankful for all of my blessings.
14) So thankful for all of the travel that I have been able to do.
15) So thankful for my college education.
16) So thankful for people in my life that I can count on.
17) So thankful for good friends that I can talk to.
18) So thankful for all of the experiences that I have had in my 34 years.
19) So thankful for beautiful fall weather.
20) So thankful for football season and the fun it brings.
21) So thankful for the fact that I live in Austin, TX. Love this place! :)
22) So thankful for this time of the year when all of the holidays are approaching.
23) So thankful for the words "I Love You".
24) So thankful for all of the amazing things that the Lord has made.
25) So thankful for snowcapped mountains, the rain, the cool breeze, the ocean, and snowflakes.

Lunch Fun....

Braden got to hang out with his fun friend Micah on Monday for lunch!! They decided they wanted to hit up California Pizza Kitchen-ha! :) The good news for me was that I got to catch up with my sweet friends Shawna and Courtney! YAY! :) Love it! :)

Baptism Sunday...

Sunday was a big day for Braden. :) We baptized him at St Paul Lutheran Church in Fort Worth (where my family went when my brother was in highschool). It was special to be able to baptize him at St Paul b.c that was where my brother and sister in law got married, and where our neice, Lainey, was baptized. :)

It was so neat to watch Braden on Sunday, and it was sweet to bring him to that special event in his life. :) What a wonderful experience, and God was there smiling on him. :)

Roadtrip #2...

Well we took our 2nd roadtrip with Braden this weekend and he did great. :) That makes us very happy since we do like to be on the go. :) We headed up to Dallas to see family and friends, and to baptize our little man on Sunday. YAY!

Here are a few pics from our Saturday adventure in DFW. :) I wish I would have taken more pics later that evening when more of Chris's family arrived....but Braden was having a slight meltdown since he had not had a nap pretty much all day. So most of the pics would have been of him wailing! HA! :)
