D-Love Comes To Town....

We had the privledge of our sweet friend Danelle visiting from Nashville this past weekend. It was great to have her here, and so much fun to catch up!! :) It was Braden's first time to meet her, and they hit it off right away. :) I guess he must have known that she has 6 nieces and 1 nephew.....so that makes her very experienced with babies. :) We are so glad she came to play for the weekend! :)

Amy and I had a girls night with Danelle on Friday night with good Mexican food and lots of stories. :) Saturday and Sunday were family days....and those days included pizza, Wii, The Domain, church, eating out, and lots of laughs. :) Here are a couple of pics of her visit. :) Good times!

Happy Half Birthday Braden!!

Our little man is 6 months old today!! HOORAY!! He is the best and we love him dearly! :)

We had to have a 6 month birthday celebration in his honor!! :) And of course he needed a "half" cake, 6 candles for the past 6 months, and for us to sing to him for his big day! :) Fun times!! :)

I think I kinda like this birthday thing!! It is pretty fun!I am going to be all ready for my one year party for sure! I have practiced playing in the icing..but my parents said I cannot taste the sweet stuff until I am ONE! :) Darn!! :)

Baby B....

I think most people that have been to our house know that we LOVE the letter "B". HA!! :) We have B's everywhere for "Bugbee". :) Braden likes to wear B's too.... for his first and last name! :)

Braden and Haylee......

Dori and her sweet baby girl Haylee came over on Thursday evening to play with Braden and I. My best friend Jenn joined in on the fun too!! We decided we needed to get these kiddos some more quality time together since they were going to be good buds growing up! :) Haylee just turned 2 months old...so she and Braden are almost exactly 4 months apart. We already know they will be great friends!! :)

We Love When Friends Visit.......

Our sweet friend Arturo came to visit us from Dallas on Wednesday evening. He was in town for work, so he came by the house for dinner and to play with our little man. :) It was great to see him and catch up...and Braden loved all of the attention of course! HA! :)

Austin Snow...

We got some GREAT snow in Austin on Tuesday!! NICE!! :) It was about 70 degrees on Sunday, and then Tuesday it started snowing like crazy!! You have to love Texas weather! :)

The snowflakes were awesome...huge, huge flakes!! It coated everything and it was so pretty. :) I think it literally snowed off and on from about 7 am to about 5 pm. :) It made us all happy, and I really wish I would have gone out to build a snowman this time around. Yay for snow...I wish it would come more often! :)

Crystal Beach, TX....

I was fortunate to be able to join in for a fun ladies weekend at Crystal Beach this weekend!! What a good time we all had with LOTS of laughs!! It was with my mom's side of the family, and all of the ladies were invited (grandmothers, moms, sisters, aunts, cousins, etc). The great thing is that my mom has a REALLY big family, (as my grandmother had 11 brothers and sisters), and it is super fun to get everyone together. :)

My mom rented a fabulous and spacious beach cabin in Crystal Beach, and all were invited to partake in the fun. :) We had ladies of all ages eating great food, telling stories from days past, drinking wine, playing Keno, watching movies, walking the beach, and getting in some good R&R. It made me realize how blessed I am for three reasons:

1) I am a part of a large family that thinks that these kind of weekends are very special, and they make it a priority to be there and bond with each other.

2) That I have an amazing mom that is so good at organizing and bringing people together for super fun events like this one.

3) That I have a wonderful hubby that will keep my 6 month old son all by himself for the whole weekend...just so I can be gone for 3 days of fun. :) You are the best Chris! :)
