Crawling, Pulling Up, Finger Foods, And Finally A Tooth!!

Well it has been a fun week of firsts for Mr. B! :) Four new things happened right after his 9 month old birthday.....he started crawling (the right way!!), pulling up to standing, eating finger foods, and he finally got his first tooth!! YAY!! :) What a little stud muffin! :)

We started the finger foods right after he turned 9 months, and he has picked it up pretty quickly. He seems to enjoy feeding himself but he still gets almost all of his calories from baby food. :) I am sure that will change over the next month. He has been grubbing up on some cheese, turkey, pepperoni slices, bananas, soft apples, corn, bread, tortillas, and pretty much anything that we are eating that is healthy, (and that we can break up into small pieces). He stilll loves all of his Gerber graduates like Puffs, teething biscuits, crunchy sticks, wagon wheels, yogurt melts, and also Cheerios of course! :) He is also loving that he can have yogurt now...and he is enjoying that as his daily morning snack. YUM! :)

We saw his first tooth coming in early this week. He did not seem to have too much of an issue with this tooth....nothing crazy with his sleep or a fever or anything. We are loving that he has one tiny stump right now...and are waiting for a few more to pop through. :) We will take a picture of it when it is big enough to see! HA!

And then on June 1st he decided that he was just going to start crawling. FUN! :) He had been doing the backward crawl, the scoot, rolling to things, etc..but he had not perfected the traditional crawl until now. :) We were cheering him on and video taping him, etc. And once again he just kind of looked up at us like "What? This is no big deal guys!!" HA!! He is so funny! He is all over the place now..and we are watching him enjoy his newfound mobility.

The last thing he decided to do was to start pulling up to standing on his own. So now we have to watch him like a hawk so he does not take a huge tumble. :) He loves to stand..and I think he will be into cruising around on furniture soon!!

I love to crawl into the bathroom in the morning and talk with Dad when he is in the shower. :)

Mom and Dad started babyproofing the house....so now there are all of these gates everywhere. Ick! :(

And here is another gate banning me from the kitchen!! :(

This one is kind of fun...but it does prevent me from pulling up on the coffee table and slamming my fingers in the drawers. So I guess this one makes sense. :)

And I got this Time Out chair...but I SERIOUSLY doubt I will ever need this! :)Hee hee! :) Just hanging out..... I am learning how to drink my milk from a sippy cup and not just a bottle. :)

I am not really interested in these toys like the exersaucer and the jumperoo anymore...but they sure are fun to crawl under! :)
